YEAR 3 Residential Trip TO HOOKE COURT

In the Autumn Term, Year 3 children have the option of visiting Hooke Court to tie in with our topic of Changes in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. The children participate in a variety of activities including: an archaeological dig; making natural dyes and weaving; cooking fish in clay and cutting up food with flint. They also gather around a camp fire in the evening to share and investigate their archaeological finds.

Click on the link below for more information about where the children stay and the activities they will be participating in. Further details, including the dates and cost of the residential, are also available on the Letters to Parents page of our website.

Children who stay at school will enjoy an exciting Stone Age Workshop.
