Relationships, Health and Sex Education
Since September 2020, all primary schools have been required to teach Relationships and Health Education. Most of what we do in Relationships and Health Education at Craneswater is embedded across our curriculum within all year groups. However, in Y5 and Y6 we do cover some of this content relating to the changing adolescent body and romantic relationships specifically in our PSHE curriculum and also cover non-statutory Sex Education in Y6.
We have put together the following slides with information for parents to inform you about the content of these lessons. If you have any further questions after viewing the slides, please do contact your child’s class teacher or Ms Lawrence/Mrs Wilkinson, PSHE co-ordinators on admin@craneswater.portsmouth.sch.uk.
